Next Library 2013 calls for applications and suggestions for:
The call for Poster Sessions at Next Library 2013 is out now. Poster sessions will give participants the opportunity to visually present a best practice, a project, an idea or an invention – and to share ideas and learning with other Next Library participants.
The first call for proposals for interactive sessions at Next Library 2013 has now closed.
We have already received lots of great proposals that we will review in the upcoming weeks. The proposers will receive our feedback no later than March 15.
In the upcoming weeks the first interactive sessions will be announced, and there will be two additional calls: One for poster sessions and one for a wild card interactive session.
The Next Library Crew
The goals of the interactive sessions are to provide unique opportunities for innovators, practitioners and decision makers in the international library community to network, co-create new ideas, learn from each other, exchange experiences about next practice and explore directions for the future of libraries. Specialists, for instance architects, designers and researchers are often invited to spark inspiration in the sessions.
If you have an idea for an interactive session don't hesitate to suggest it - find the guidelines for proposing interactive sessions here.
It is our great pleasure to announce that due to funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation it is possible to offer 5 travel grants to support colleagues from low-resourced countries to attend the 2013 Next Library conference in Aarhus. Find out more.
