2018 / The Secret Presence of the Library in the Urban Space

We invite broadly to a workshop about how the library can stimulate and be part of the surrounding local area in an untraditional and unexpected way. How can we crash urban space and create disruption for a new thought or something unexpected? How can we create a playful communication, that transforms these spaces, that are normally grey and mundane, in order to create a pause, a reflection or a curious wonder? How can we "disturb" people without disturbing or creating irritation? We will have workstations with a toolkit that could contain quotes and library relevant pictures to play with and apply to the settings arranged. In groups we will create secrete communicative actions, whereby the library could be present in the local community. The groups will create simple prototypes and sketches for these actions.
