Monday 17 June 11:00 - 12:30
/From The Innovation Studio - Johanna Härenstam
/From Innovation Studio - Lise Kloster Gram
The goal of this exercise is to let the participants try and put their own literary performance together, so that it generates a special experience for the guests before, during, and after the performance.
The main focus is staging and cooperating with the writer and other relevant partners, but also the interaction between the physical and the virtual library. Above all it is about getting the participants to experience the literature taking place outside the book as a catalyst for rethinking the libraries’ take on promoting literature.
In short, the participants need to think about literature instead of just books. It is about reinventing the library by focusing on one of our core services: Promoting literature.
In other words, we have to do what we do best - in a new way.
The interactive session is based on project “Literature Taking Place” (www.netlitteratur.dk) and the experiences from the Literature Spot at Aaby Branch Library.
