Miami-Dade Public Library System (FL)
Gia Arbogast became the Assistant Director for the newly created Outreach, Communications and Programming division of the Miami-Dade Public Library System in 2012. As Assistant Director she is responsible for the development and execution of the Library’s Signature event, the International Art of Storytelling, along with system-wide programming such as Summer Reading, Teen Read Week, and Bookmark Contest as well as outreach services like mobile libraries, Talking Books, Connection: Library Service for the Homebound, Jump Start and Project L.E.A.D. (Literacy for Every Adult in Dade). Ms. Arbogast also implemented YOUmedia Miami and was instrumental in creating the Library’s early literacy initiative, Reading Ready.

San Francisco Public Library (CA)
Jennifer Collins has served as the Teen Services Coordinator for San Francisco Public Library since 2000 and has worked as a youth services librarian in the Bay Area for over 20 years. She oversees youth development efforts and school outreach services as well as directing out-of-school time programs and events for ages 13-18. She has also played a central role in developing and designing a new youth digital learning lab for the San Francisco Public Library. She has advised architectural teams on developing youth spaces within library branches and represents the library on many Bay Area community working groups.

Kendra Davey has worked as a Youth Services Librarian for 7 years with Pima County Public Library. During that time, her focus has been to provide teens and young adults with meaningful job and career skills through volunteering at the library. Kendra also has a deep interest in leadership and institutional planning. She has combined all three interests with her work during the planning process for Pima County Public Library’s (PCPL) Youth Media Lab. Kendra served as a supervisor and mentor for PCPL’s Youth Design Team, a group of 22 teens tasked with planning a youth media center for Pima County.

As Program Leader for Education, Amy Eshleman is leading ULC’s support of Learning Labs for Libraries and Museums, a national program to design and build innovative learning experiences and spaces for teens in 24 libraries and museums across the U.S. Prior to joining ULC, Amy was the Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Planning and Partnerships at the Chicago Public Library. In that role Amy led the creation and implementation of long-range planning, design and resource-building collaborations and programs including: YOUmedia; One Book, One Chicago; Kraft Great Kids and Computer Smarts @ CPL.
Danielle Patrick Milam

Danielle Patrick Milam is an urban planner that landed in the public library world in 1998. She currently serves as Development Director for the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and Foundation where she shapes and finds funding for service innovation and partnership initiatives. Before that, she served as Sr. VP of Program and Development at the Urban Libraries Council in Chicago, IL, where she designed industry conferences, research, publications and futures projects. Prior to that, she ran her own planning firm in San Antonio, TX, while raising her 4 children, working on environmental, literacy and economic development projects.

Corey Wittig is the Digital Learning Librarian for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. He manages The Labs @ CLP, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's teen-only Learning Lab and was recognized as a Library Journal “Mover and Shaker” in 2012.
