Monday 14 September at 10:00 - 11:30

This interactive workshop is a hands-on exploration and collaborative invention of the next generation of library user experience (UX). We invite participants to think about user objectives and desired outcomes; challenge them to think about library user needs in creative learning and exploration; and consider how we design services and spaces to foster this type of creativity. The session is facilitated by the organizers, but the ideas come from our participants.

Having facilitated similar workshops with libraries and communities in the United States, the organizers are excited to collaborate with Next Library 2015 innovators to push the boundaries of library UX through this exercise at Aarhus.

Organizers:
Nate Hill, Executive Director of METRO NY Library Council.

Dawn Merkes, President, Group 4 Architecture Research + Planning, Inc., South San Francisco, USA.
Amos Blanton, Research Officer, LEGO foundation, Billund, Denmark.
