I have just learnt about Next Library Conference and am very much encouraged. This is because libraries are not just books but a place with books and innovative programs that can change the living standards of the community for example in education, economy etc. I work in a community Library which is in the largest informal settlement in Kenya. I believe I need to share my ideas on how we work hard in bringing ICT to marginalized children in the slum using tablets. Libraries need to be supple especially in the informal settlement areas hence eradicate poverty, reduce crimes and offer the citizens living there equal opportunities in employment.
