Registration for Next Library 2019

Registration for Next Library 2019 was re-opened

Due to the newly announced General Election June 5 in Denmark, we received some cancellations from Danish Next Library participants, as they are returning officers, responsible for planning and overseeing that elections are conducted according to the rules.

We are looking forward to welcoming people from 41 countries at Next Library 2019: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Iceland, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Namibia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA and Zambia.

Next Library Badge: Low registration fee before 2019 March 1st: 3300 DKK - 440 EUR incl. VAT
Next Library Badge: Standard registration fee from 2019 March 2nd: 3700 DKK - 495 EUR incl. VAT
Additional fees for site visits, other optional events, parking etc.

What was included?
A Next Library Badge gives you access to:
_Conference program + lunch & coffee (3 - 4 June) 
_Get2Gether Sunday evening 2 June with buffet and beverages
_Monday Mingle Tour incl. food
_Next Library Dinner Party Tuesday evening 4 June with dinner and beverages ad lib.

Registration was binding
Cancellation until 1 March 2019 allowed refund of conference fee.
An administration fee of 500 DKK/ 67 EUR was not refunded. After 1 March there was no refund of registration fee, but you were welcome to send a replacement.
Cancellation of an accompanying person allowed no refund.

Hotels & Accomodation

We encouraged participants to book accommodation shortly after registering to Next Library. Due to other large events in Aarhus, hotels might be fully booked.
For the Next Library 2019, Aarhus Public Libraries made booking agreements with a number of hotels close to Dokk1, the conference venue.

Do I need a visa?
Participants from certain countries will find that they need a visa in order to enter Denmark for the conference.
