to stakeholders, members of the Next Library® Community and the international community of library practitioners and managers and Next Library Advisory Board to identify themes that are relevant for the future of public libraries from different perspectives.

15 October: Announcement of themes

Calls for proposals for Interactive Sessions and Ignite Next Library Talks

(maybe: Call for applications for scholarship grants)

Medio November 2018

November 12: Deadline to submit proposals for Interactive Sessions & Ignite Next Library Talks

(November 7: Deadline for scholarships?)

16 – 30 November - Review of proposals in Next Library Groups and Next Library Advisory Board

December 2018 / January 2019

Decision by Next Library Executive Committee
Notification to submitters

Announcement of Preliminary program including final program for site visits and optional events on www.nextlibrary.net, Facebook, Twitter and other social media

Registration opens medio January

February 2019

Early bird expires medio February

March – April 2019

Planning in collaboration with co-organizers & speakers,

2 – 4 June: conference program
