The outset of this session is the Virtual Reality game” Real or Fake News”. The game is as a model of how libraries and schools can work together to educate in source criticism in an exciting, immersive, and interactive way.
The session is intended to increase awareness about the potential for development and use of VR in libraries and schools. Furthermore we hope to get input on how to involve student participants better in learning sessions.
Along with the Real or Fake News project you can also learn more about The Glass Room Community Edition. It is an engaging, accessible interactive
exhibition on data and privacy that can be sent out to be easily set up
and hosted by librarians anywhere.
Alongside visualisations and digital resources, visitors can take a free
Data Detox Kit, an 8-day guide to a digital privacy makeover and take
steps to improve their own online privacy.

used in effectively in libraries,
