Announcement of our first keynote speaker at Next Library 2019 // What would you like IFLA's President to talk about?

We are so happy that Gloria has generously accepted to be one of our Keynote speakers at Next Library 2019. Glòria Pérez-Salmerón is currently President of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) 2017-2019 and senior consultant at Libraries Department at Diputació de Barcelona Glòria is totally convinced about a real social change throughout meaningful access to information via libraries is possible and that libraries are a social investment. Therefore, her theme as IFLA President, “Libraries motors of change” is in itself a statement of how well libraries can help in developing an improving life of individuals and communities.

Next Library is coming soon. What would you like IFLA’s President to talk about?
