With the reference to American Corner Kano, Kano State Library Board, the information center develop partnership with Government Agencies,CBOs,CSOs, Youth Groups, Student Associations, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, Women Cooperative Societies. Parents etc in order to keep organizing various programs that educate, sensitize and engage the community to support the sustainable development goals as last year closed we have the total of Eighty Nine Programs (89) successfully organized that are in line with sustainable development goals.
Therefore, the creative or innovative ways we develop to address a specific need in your community are as follows;
- Creating Facebook Groups
- Creating WhatsApp Groups
- Mail List
- Outreach Programs to meet students in their Schools and people in their communities with multimedia library services on Information Literacy Trainings
- Webinar Courses
- Google Hangout Programs
I look at Library Innovation as process of using professional knowledge, skills and working experiences together to come up with effective and efficient service or program that added value to the library and develop the library to achieve its aims and objectives in this era of information age.
