Since the opening of Helsinki’s wildly popular Central Library Oodi, we have developed many makerspace services from the scratch. Learning through trial and error, we have tried and tested concepts for low-threshold services, events and workshops that support lifelong learning and sustainable lifestyle.

We’ll share our best ideas, tips and tricks with you! You also get to make a library-themed patch to decorate your favorite work pants.

Sanna and Riikka are two makerspace enthusiasts from Central Library Oodi, Helsinki. Their main goal is to ensure that people, regardless of their background or initial skills, can learn, participate, create and have fun along the way.
