We invite you to take part in shaping the very first Next Library Satellite in South Korea, taking place in Seoul, May 19–22, 2026.
Next Library Satellite Seoul are calling for ideas, stories, and practices that challenge and expand what libraries can be. Whether you want to share an inspiring project, lead an interactive workshop, or try out a new format altogether, this is your opportunity to connect with an international community of library innovators and creative thinkers.
Sessions should connect to one or more of the following themes:
Beyond Open Doors: Inclusive Libraries – exploring how libraries can truly welcome and include everyone.
Content, Experience, Exploration: Expanding What Libraries Offer – rethinking what kinds of content and experiences libraries can provide.
Why Place Still Matters: Libraries as Places – considering the role of libraries as meaningful physical spaces in a digital age.
The Open Call welcomes a variety of formats, from Ignite talks and interactive workshops to open formats that don’t fit the usual mold.
Deadline for proposals: 30 November 2025, 6:00 PM KST.
