- Public Libraries Make the World Better
Ignite Talk
Martin believes that everyone working in public libraries has the chance to be a part of making the world and society a better place. We need to reinforce and develop the idea of democracy and promote the power of finding solutions together. Public libraries are perfect forums for questions about democracy and participation.
In this Ignite Talk, Martin will tell you how he works on a local, European, and global level to promote public libraries’ role(s) in making the world a better place and how you are and can be a part of this force. He will also share some examples on how Swedish libraries work in relation to social issues and conflicts.Â
