- Library Foresight – Mirai-kuji
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
Expo
A ritual for those who still believe the future of libraries is not written yet.
Forget what you expect from a booth.
This is not a demo. This is a disruption.
Rooted in a thousand-year-old Japanese tradition, Mirai-kuji invites you into a poetic ritual of foresight, emotion, and collective imagination.
You’ll draw a number.
You’ll receive a future.
You’ll feel something. And you’ll have to choose what to do with it.
Stamp your response. Tie your rejection to the red thread wall.
Write your own vision in the Book of Desirable Futures.
Take a message with you — or leave one behind.
Nothing here is passive.
This is not a simulation. It’s rehearsal.
And you are not just a visitor. You are a voice in the library of tomorrow.
BoostLibrariesTogether
Let’s imagine bravely. Decide clearly. Lead collectively.
