Across the animal kingdom, play pervades. Why? Because play is a developmental necessity for many species to thrive, including us humans. Then why do we as a species push play aside, trivialize it and view it as just a nice-to-have?

In my session, we will remind ourselves why play matters, the challenges it is facing and what the LEGO Group is doing to address the “play gap”.
