- Next Level: Creating Democratic Spaces through Gaming
Ignite Talk
In 2024, the Bibliothek am Luisenbad, Berlin opened a Gaming Lounge, offering events for schools and local groups to enable (digital) participation and development of digital skills. It is a democratic, inclusive space, implementing (digital) children’s rights. As such, the lounge is a hub for many gaming or play projects in the whole library, thus providing existing and new library users new access, creating democratic spaces for their involvement at various levels.
