- The Future Was Here….. Opportunities and Challenges with AI in Libraries
Session
This session will provide a glimpse behind the veil into the future use of technology in libraries. How will our work change? What will it mean for our services and contact with library users? What will be the impact on the content and use of our collections?
No means of looking into the future will be avoided and expect serious drama in the form of tarot cards and a real crystal ball. Challenges and opportunities will be discussed by future gazers Eppo van Nispen andErik Boekesteijn. Members of the audience will also be invited to the table to share their thoughts and ideas.
Some will leave no doubt more confused yet curious. Others will feel more confident and ready to move forward. Critical thinking will be provoked and welcomed. Be there and be part of a bumpy ride.
