- Tinkering in Motion: Stop-Motion Animation with Simple Tools & Materials
Session
Come animate with us and watch your ideas come to life!
In this hands-on session, you’ll explore the playful world of stop-motion animation using everyday materials and simple techniques — both digital and physical. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to tinker.
After the making, we’ll introduce key principles of the Tinkering approach and share practical tips for setting up your own creative workshops in libraries, classrooms, or community spaces.
Hosts
Sebastian Martin & Jovana Jankov
Sebastian creates learning experiences that invite people to tinker and “think with their hands”. With a background in designing interactive exhibits at the Exploratorium Science Center in San Francisco, he explores the space where creativity, science, and hands-on discovery come together. Currently, he collaborates with Aarhus Public Libraries to envision and create a “Tinkering Dream Lab”.
